Talhasi (Florida): The firing incident on Thursday at the US Florida State University (FSU) shook the entire area. Two people died and five were injured in the incident. The university administration has immediately locked the entire campus and issued an emergency alert.
Sudden firing with student union
On 17 April, Thursday morning, a gunman was reported to enter the student union. Firing started a few moments later. The police immediately reached the spot and took action, while ambulances, fireworks and emergency services also reached soon. The health department said that the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital, some of which are in critical condition.
The deceased was not a student.
Police said that there was no university student among the dead. Currently a suspected detained and further investigation is underway against him. Although the reason behind the firing is not yet clear, the investigating agencies have started investigation from all directions.
