They were on a mission to repair and remove a damaged vehicle. The US Army has not revealed his identity. His family is being informed.

He appreciated the rescue team working day and night to find the fourth soldier.

These American soldiers were deployed in Lithuania under Operation Atlantic Resolve and came from Fort Stewart, Georgia. He went missing on Tuesday morning. On Wednesday, the vehicles were buried in four meters of water and two meters of mud. The cause of the accident is not yet clear. After the incident, Lithuania immediately deployed helicopters, drones, excavation machines, pumps and hundreds of tons of soil.
