Union Public Service Commission (UPSC ) Today has declared the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE). In which Shakti Dubey has been a topper from all over the country. A total of 1009 students participated in this examination. Out of which only 241 candidates have passed. Harshita Goyal has come in second place. The top 30 candidates who have passed the UPSC exam include three Gujarati.

 

UPSC conducted a written examination in September 2024 and interviews were conducted from January to April 2025. The selected candidates will be trained in the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Administration Academy for IAS, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) for IPS and special academies for other affiliated services.

Three Gujarati in Top 30

This year, three Gujarati have been able to make it to the top 30 in the UPSC exam. The top 5 also includes two Gujarati women. Harshita Goyal of Vadodara has come second in this list. Shah Margi is ranked fourth, while Panchal Smit is ranked 30th. Out of a total of 241 candidates who have passed the UPSC exam, 30 are from Gujarat.

Its preparations started in 2018.

Shakti Dubey, who topped the UPSC exam, was preparing for the exam since 2018. After studying biochemistry from Banaras Hindu University, he started preparing for UPSC. The marks of the candidates will be declared about 15 days after the result is declared. The UPSC CSE interviews were held till April 17, 2025. The interview round began on 7 January 2025. UPSC recruited 1132 posts for services including IAS, IPS, IFS under CSE 2024.
