The UPSC NDA & CDS I 2025 registration deadline has been extended by the Union Public Service Commission. The direct application link for the Common Defence Services Examination and the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination is available on UPSC’s official website, upsconline.gov.in.
“Due to some technical issues, the closing date for NDA-I and CDS-I Examination, 2025 has been extended till 1800 hours on 01.01.2025 (Wednesday),” the official website said.

Exemptions: SC/ST candidates, female candidates, and wards of JCOs/NCOs/Ors are exempted.

How to apply:
Step 1: Go to upsconline.gov.in, the UPSC’s official website.
Step 2: On the home page, click the UPSC NDA & NA, CDS I 2025 link.
Step 3: Candidates must submit their registration information on a new page that opens.
Step 4: After selecting “Submit,” log in to your account.
Step 5: Complete the application and pay the required amount.
Step 6: After selecting “Submit,” the page will be downloaded.
Step 7: Save a hard copy of it in case you need it later.
In 2025, 406 posts will be filled by the UPSC NDA and NA I Exam, and 457 positions will be filled by the CDS I Exam. Positions are temporary and subject to change based on the National Defence Academy’s and the Indian Naval Academy’s training capacities.
