UP’s first integrated Township will be Built in Meerut: Dream will be fulfilled by millions

News India Live, Digital Desk: The first state -of -the -art integrated township of the state is going to develop in the Mohiuddinpur region of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. This township, to be built at a cost of about 2 thousand crores, will fulfill the dream of a house for millions of people. It will also be a center of attraction for the people of Delhi-NCR with Delhi-Meerut Rapid X’s Meerut South Station.

Where will the township be?

The township is being built in front of the sugar mill at Mohiuddinpur, about 2 km from the interchange of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. It will be located just 1.5 km from Meerut South (Bhudabral station).

Farmers will get proper compensation

Meerut Development Authority (Meda) has started the process of purchasing the land of farmers with consent. Farmers are being paid four times the circle rate for land. In the first phase, 111.79 hectares of land will be purchased from Mohiuddinpur and 30.09 hectares from Chhajupur, for which about Rs 1007.34 crore will be spent. Houses, tubewells and crops built on land will be evaluated separately.

World class facilities will be in the township

This township will also develop residential as well as commercial areas. There will be group housing, warehouse, IT sector, large national and multinational companies’ offices, shopping complex, hospitals, international brands outlets, parking, malls and entertainment areas. This will be the state’s first transit oriented development (TOD) based township, in which shopping complex below and multi -storey flats will be built above. This township will develop on the lines of Gurgaon.
