On Saturday afternoon, people using UPI service once again faced technical problems. Due to the UPI server down, a large number of transactions were stuck across the country and users faced problems.
The NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) has informed that the problem arose due to technical reasons, due to which the UPI transaction was partially affected.
What does a dowdatector report say?
- According to a dowdatector report, a total of 1168 complaints related to UPI were filed till Saturday afternoon.
- Of these:
- 96 complaints of Google Pay Users,
- And 23 complaints from Paytm users were involved.
- In the last few days, there have been incidents of blockage in UPI services.
What to do if UPI is down?
In the event of UPI suddenly, you can resort to the options given below:
1. Use Debit/Credit Card
- If the payment is not being made from UPI, you can use a debit or credit card.
- The card can be easily paid by swipe, tap or inserting the card in the POS machine.
- This method is especially convenient in places like shops and restaurants.
2. Adopt Net Banking Options
- Through net banking, you can directly transfer money from your account to another account.
- Mobile banking apps of almost all banks are available, using which can be paid.
- Real time transaction is possible through options like NEFT, IMPS and RTGS.
3. Use digital wallet
- You can use digital wallets like Paytm, PhonePe, Freecharge.
- Keep in mind that the wallet should already load money.
- Wallets can also be paid through scan and pay or mobile number.
