Seven-planet alignment
In late February, seven planets will appear in the night sky: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. This is a rare astronomical event.

February 12 – Full Moon. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun, and its face will be fully illuminated. This phase occurs at 7:25 pm IST.

Venus at greatest brightness on February 16, Venus will be at its brightest of the year, appearing more than twice as bright as its dimmest moment.
Pleiades
The first quarter moon hides the Pleiades on February 6; the dark side of the first quarter moon will move in front of the Pleiades star cluster. The stars of the cluster will disappear one by one.

In the next month, a total lunar eclipse in March: The next total lunar eclipse will occur on Friday, March 13–14, 2025. It will be visible from anywhere on the night side of Earth.
Partial solar eclipse
Partial solar eclipse near the end of March: A partial solar eclipse will occur on Saturday, March 29, 2025. It will be visible in parts of North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans.
