Severe cold continues in North India. It has been raining intermittently for the last few days in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Besides, dense fog has increased the problems of the people. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a new update for December 29 and 30, in which the weather is likely to remain dry. However, an alert has been issued regarding dense fog.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of dense fog for eastern and western Uttar Pradesh on December 29 and 30.

  • The weather is likely to remain clear on 31 December and 1 January 2025.
  • No alert has been issued on December 29 in Saharanpur, Bijnor, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Lucknow, Ayodhya, and other districts of Uttar Pradesh.
