The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a big step for transparency and technical improvement in the examinations of polytechnic institutions of the state. Now the state level control room will have live monitoring of the examination centers, as well as the evaluation of question papers and copies will be made completely digital and safe.
Question papers will be sent by secret code
Examination papers will now be sent directly to the examination centers by email through secret code. The administrator of the Center will have to decode it with the help of password, which will almost eliminate the chances of leaking the question paper.
Digital evaluation of copies
Students’ answer sheets will now be evaluated digitally, making the evaluation process faster and transparent. This new system has been implemented on the recommendation of the committee headed by the Vice Chancellor of AKTU, which has been approved by the Minister of Technical Education.
Ranking of institutions and biometric attendance
The “State Institutional Ranking Framework (SIRF)” portal has been launched to monitor the quality of polytechnic institutions in the state. Also, the attendance of students and teachers will be recorded through biometric system.
State -of -the -art laboratories and employment opportunities
State -of -the -art laboratories will be constructed in polytechnic institutions, and the process of filling the vacant posts will also start soon. The system of providing better employment to students will also be intensified by contacting industries.
Four new engineering colleges ready soon
The work of four new engineering colleges under construction in Gonda, Basti, Mirjapur and Pratapgarh districts will be completed soon. There are plans to transfer students studying in other districts to these new campuses by 31 May.
