There is good news for the youth who want to work in the police in Uttar Pradesh. The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is soon going to start the recruitment process for a total of 4,534 posts including Sub -Inspector (SI), Platoon Commander, and Rakshi. The release for this is likely to be released by the end of April.
These posts will be recruited
- Sub -inspector (inspector): 4,242 posts
- Sub -inspector for female PAC units: 106 posts (Badaun, Gorakhpur, Lucknow)
- Platoon Commander / Sub -Inspector Armed Police: 135 posts
- Sub -Inspector/Platoon Commander in Special Security Force (SSF): 60 posts
Online application process from May
According to sources, online applications for recruitment can begin in the month of May. The Police Recruitment Board has started preparations for this. The board is engaged in other necessary processes including selection of the examination agency. It is expected that the notification of recruitment in the coming days will be officially released.
CM Yogi announced recruitment
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently announced the recruitment of about 30 thousand new policemen in the state. Earlier, 60,244 posts were admitted in Uttar Pradesh. The Yogi government had given 3 years exemption in the age limit specifically for the candidates, due to which the maximum age limit was increased from 22 to 25 years.
