The process of land acquisition has been initiated by the administration for the expansion of Trishul airbase at Bareilly. After the consent of the Ministry of Defense, the District Administration, Defense Estate Office and Air Force officials are working fast.
Ban on land purchase and sale
The district administration has identified 93.798 hectares of land from four villages to expand the airbase. At present, the administration has banned the purchase and sale of this land. Now it will be mandatory for the landowners who buy or sell land to take NOC (NOC) from Tehsil Sadar.
Which villages will be affected?
The project will affect the Kanjadaspur region located between Hajipur Brajlal, Nagaria Kala, Bhuda, and the city. About 18.435 hectares of land in Kanjadaspur will also come under the purview of acquisition. Currently, construction or planting trees is prohibited from the airbase boundary.
Demand for villagers: complete acquisition process soon
The villagers have demanded the administration to complete the land acquisition process rapidly. He says that it is often necessary to buy and sell land to meet everyday needs. Villagers have said that the administration either complete the acquisition soon or they should be allowed to use land.
Permission of Ministry of Defense is required
The Defense Estate Office has sent a letter to the Air Force officials and suggested the Ministry of Defense to seek in -principle permission. Tehsildar Bhanu Pratap Singh said that the land report has been prepared and the NOC process has been implemented.
The project will prove to be extremely important in terms of regional security, development and employment generation.
