Uttar Pradesh: The Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, is continuously striving to empower the state industrially and economically. Bundelkhand region, which till now was known for backwardness, is moving towards becoming a new industrial hub. An industrial corridor is going to be built here which will be bigger than Noida and Greater Noida. Let’s take an in-depth look at this ambitious project.

Industrial corridor bigger than Noida will be built in Bundelkhand

Yogi government plans to set up Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA) on 36,000 acres of land in Bundelkhand. This project will be developed between Jhansi and Kanpur, covering 33 villages of Jhansi.

The purpose of construction of this industrial corridor is not only to bring regional development but also to provide new employment opportunities. People living in Jhansi and its surrounding areas will get direct benefits from this.

Approval of Rs 13 billion: New hope of employment for youth

Yogi Adityanath, during his recent visit to Chitrakoot, sanctioned a huge amount of Rs 13 billion for this project. This corridor will connect Bundelkhand Expressway to Chitrakoot.

This scheme will generate employment opportunities not only for local but also for outside youth. This initiative of the government can prove to be a milestone for the economic and social upliftment of the area.

This project will change the map of Bundelkhand

Due to this ambitious plan, the entire scenario of Bundelkhand is expected to change. Lack of employment and slow pace of development in this area has been a matter of concern for a long time. Now, this project is set to transform it into an industrial and economic hub.

CM Yogi Adityanath has given top priority to the development of Purvanchal and Bundelkhand during the tenure of his government. Construction of AIIMS in Gorakhpur, restarting of closed fertilizer factories, and construction of solar energy hub are proof of his progressive thinking.

Industrial center will be expanded on 800 acres of land

Under Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA), 800 acres of land in Jhansi has been identified for an industrial hub. This area is going to become a solar energy hub and a center for defense sector related industries.

This industrial corridor plan will provide modern infrastructure, better roads, and high-class facilities to Jhansi and surrounding villages.

Defense corridor is also being developed

Along with the industrial corridor in Bundelkhand, work is also going on at a rapid pace on the defense corridor. The objective of this project is to increase self-reliance in the defense sector and provide employment to local youth. Jhansi is going to become an important center of this defense corridor, which is strategically important for India.

Bundelkhand: Step towards solar energy hub

The plan to convert this area into a solar energy hub is also a priority of the government. This project will not only make the environment safe but will also reduce the problem of electricity. Bundelkhand’s climate and available space make it an ideal location for solar energy.

Local people will get these benefits

  1. employment opportunities: Youth will get jobs on a large scale.
  2. modern infrastructure: Better facilities of roads, electricity and water.
  3. urbanization of villages: 33 villages have been included in the project, which will lead to their development.
  4. solution to electricity problem: Solar energy project will ensure availability of electricity in the area.

Government’s priorities: roadmap for development

Yogi government has made significant progress in the field of industry and employment in Uttar Pradesh. Bundelkhand Industrial Corridor is another big step in this direction.

Through this project, the government will not only strengthen the local economy but will also move towards establishing Uttar Pradesh as an industrial state.
