Devkinandan Maharaj wrote a letter to the United Nations Secretary, said that Bangladesh government has failed, every incident of Muslims makes headlines, why is the world silent on violence against Hindus? : Devkinandan Maharaj
Mathura, 04 December (HS). An appeal is being made to draw the attention of the world community to the attacks and atrocities being committed on minority Sanatani Hindus in Bangladesh. Hindu religious leader and Sanatan Nyas Foundation President Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj has written a letter to the United Nations for intervention on the continuous attacks by Muslim fundamentalists on the minority community in Bangladesh for the last few months.
In a letter addressed to UN Chief Antonio Guterres, Devkinandan Maharaj has appealed for intervention by the United Nations on the ongoing deadly attacks, arson and brutality on women and girls on the Hindu community in Bangladesh since the month of August. Earlier, Devkinandan Maharaj had taken out a foot march protesting against the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das, associated with the ISKCON organization, which raised the voice of Hindus in Bangladesh.
While giving information on Priyakantju Temple of Vrindavan on Wednesday, Sanatan Nyas Foundation Secretary Vijay Sharma said that a letter has been sent to the United Nations through tweet and post. The violence being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh is worrying. The Indian government should also take action and stop this as soon as possible. The letter to the UN mentions 2010 incidents of attacks on minorities, including 69 Hindu temples, in Bangladesh during August 2024 alone. Which includes arson and looting of 231 houses and shops by fundamentalist Muslim organizations. Even now the era of violence against Hindu families continues. These incidents demonstrate the failure of the Bangladesh government and a crime against humanity.
Devkinandan Maharaj, who was narrating Bhagwat Katha in Varanasi, expressed the need for immediate solution to the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh and intervention by the United Nations to ensure the safety of minority communities. He said that every incident involving the Muslim community in any country becomes world headlines but in Bangladesh everyone turns a blind eye to the violence by Muslim fundamentalists against Hindus. Only after the formation of Sanatan Board, there will be such a system that a mechanism will constitutionally exist in India for the cooperation of Hindus in any country of the world.
