Love Jihad: In Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh, two girls, who were allegedly victim of ‘Love Jihad’, got married in the Shiva temple located in the court premises on Tuesday. Giving this information, an official said that girls named Asha and Jyoti got married in the temple by garlanding each other in the presence of lawyer Diwakar Verma and many others.

Advocate Diwakar Verma said, “Two girls named Asha and Jyoti reached their chamber in Badaun court premises and expressed a desire to marry each other.” Verma said that she told the two girls that they could not legally marry, as they are of the same sex, after which both girls garlanded the Shiva temple located in the collector office and got each other “married”.
The victims of love jihad now vow to live together
Asha, the victim of ‘Love Jihad’, claimed that two Muslim boys pretended to be a change of love and later cheated on her. The girl alleged that the law also does not punish criminals. Jyoti also made similar allegations and said that even though her marriage is not legally valid, she and hope will live together throughout their life.
