West Champaran (Bagaha), 22 December (HS). Paddy procurement purchase is a wonderful step of the Central Government in the direction of economic empowerment of farmers. Due to which the hopes of the farmers are attached. Union Minister Satishchand Dubey said these things while inaugurating the purchasing center in the Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperation Committee Paddy Procurement Packs warehouse in Pakdi village of Kolhua Chautarwa Panchayat of Block Bagaha 1 on Sunday.
He expressed his commitment for the upliftment of farmers and agricultural development. Said that PACS will provide facilities like loan, seeds, and fertilizers to the farmers as well as give priority to paddy procurement at the minimum support price (MSP) set by the government.
Bagaha MLA Ram Singh said in his address that the main objective of the government is to ensure that farmers get fair price and timely payment for their produce. The process of paddy procurement will be made completely transparent and easy, so that farmers do not have to face any kind of problem. BJP District President Bagaha Bhupendra Nath Tiwari told the PACS presidents to pay attention to improvements in the agriculture sector as well as other issues of rural development. He assured the farmers that PACS would be ready to provide all possible assistance.
Former District President of BJP and State Working Committee member Ravindra Srivastava said that PACS will play an important role in strengthening the regional agriculture and rural economy. During this, the Union Minister honored all the PACS presidents and newly elected board presidents with full garlands and Angavastra.
