Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): The former BJP MLA and state vice-president Bahadur Singh Chauhan was reportedly beaten up by party workers in Ujjain’s Mahidpur after he forced his way on to the stage.
It is alleged that tensions had been brewing within the BJP in Mahidpur due to certain internal disputes. Due to the same, the party workers did not invite Chauhan in the programme, which was attended by Ujjain’s in-charge minister Gautam Tetwal and MP Anil Firojia.
The ex-MLA arrived at the programme and started misbehaving with the workers. He forced his way to the stage, which led to a violent clash between him and the party workers.
