Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 15-year-girl ended her life after being rebuked by father for coming home late from her coaching institute in Kanadiya police station area on Tuesday night. According to the police, the deceased was identified as Shreya, daughter of Sudama Singh, a resident of Shreeji Valley. She was a student of class 10th. Her exams were about to start this month. Her family members said that Shreya had come home from her coaching after 10 pm on Tuesday.
As she used to return home before 9 pm, her father asked her the reason and scolded her for coming late. She headed to her room and locked it from inside. Later, when her younger sister went to her room as she also sleeps in the same room, Shreya did not respond. Her sister informed her parents and they broke the door only to find her hanging. They tried to give her CPR and rushed her to the hospital where she was declared brought dead. Her father is a building material supplier. She was the eldest daughter of her parents and had two sisters and a brother.
18-year-old girl kills self after scolded by mother
On Monday, an 18-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her place after being scolded by her mother under Gandhi Nagar police station limits. According to the police, the deceased was identified as Tanu Rathore. She was a BCom first year student. Her mother scolded her for using mobile excessively and asked her to study.
She consumed some poisonous substance in anger and did not inform her family members. Later, when she vomited, she was rushed to the nearest hospital but was sent home saying it was food poisoning. When her condition worsened, she was taken to another hospital and it came to light that she had consumed poison. Later, she succumbed during the treatment late at night.
