Ujjain: Two Persons Kill Self In Separate Incidents, Committed Suicide By Hanging Themselves | Representative Image

Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Two persons living in two colonies of Chimanganj Mandi police station area committed suicide by hanging themselves in separate incidents here in the last 24 hours.

One Suraj, (21), living near Amar Nagar liquor warehouse used to work as a labourer. His brother Abhishek said that his mother Kusumbai was sitting outside the house at around 10.30 pm. Suraj reached home and went into the room and hanged himself.

His mother rang the doorbell. When there was no response, his brother and family broke the door and saw Suraj hanging from the noose. They brought him to Charak Hospital where the doctor declared him dead.

Abhishek said that Suraj was meeting his friends for the last two days and saying that they are having tea together for the last time. No one could understand the meaning of his saying so and he committed suicide.

Meanwhile, Kailash Raikwar (55), resident of Chintaman Nagar, locked himself in the room at around 11 pm and committed suicide by hanging himself with a towel. His brother Dayaram said that Kailash used to work on a saw machine and was addicted to alcohol. He came home drunk at night and started abusing his family members.

He was asked to go to his room and sleep. He locked the door from inside. After some time, when the door did not open, he broke it and saw Kailash hanging from the noose. Dayaram said that Kailash’s wife had died earlier. He is survived by a daughter.
