Lucknow, 29 November (HS). The UP STF team on Friday arrested two active members of a gang involved in illegally smuggling oxytocin injections at the interstate level.
STF sub-inspector Vinod Kumar Singh said that two youths have been arrested from Adarsh Nagar area of Thakurganj. Accused Shahzad is originally a resident of Loni, Ghaziabad and Imran is a resident of Thakurganj, Lucknow. A huge quantity of oxytocin injection and other things have been found from them. The accused said that they have a gang which supplies oxytocin injections illegally in Lucknow and surrounding districts. We get high density oxytocin injection parcel from Delhi by disguising it as mineral water. According to the need, it is packed in ampules of different sizes and supplied in Lucknow and surrounding districts. This injection is used to extract milk from .mals and make vegetables and fruits grow more in less time. Legal action is being taken against the arrested accused and they are being sent to jail.
