Mumbai, 08 July (Hindustan Times). Two passengers were injured in a collision between an ST bus and a container near Viviana Mall on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway in Thane district on Saturday morning. Both of them have been admitted to the nearest hospital. After the incident, the container driver fled from the spot. Thane police team is actively searching for the absconding tanker driver.

According to the information, the ST bus was going from Thane towards Borivali on Saturday morning. Suddenly the bus lost control and collided with the moving container near Viviana Mall. The front portion of the bus was shattered in the incident. There were a total of 9 passengers in this bus. Two of them got injured. The bus carrier and a woman were also among the injured. After this incident there was a traffic jam on the highway. Thane police reached the spot and removed the accident bus from the highway.
