Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 21-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance due to academic stress under Khudel police station limits on Sunday. She was rushed to a private hospital where she died during treatment.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Muskan, daughter of Sumer Chaudhary, a resident of Sanawadia. Her family members said that she was a student of LLB and was under significant academic pressure, which allegedly led her to take the extreme step.
When her health worsened and she began vomiting, she was rushed to the hospital, where she died during treatment. She did not leave any suicide note.
Police began a probe and conducted the post-mortem of the deceased.
A 22-year-old married woman hangs herself
A 22-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her place in Hiranagar police station limits on Sunday. Preliminary investigation revealed that an argument broke out between the couple over husband’s addiction to liquor as he came home drunk, after which the woman went to the room in anger and took the drastic step.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Priya, wife of Vijay Singh Tomar, a resident of Sagar Vihar Colony, Sukhliya.
Her father-in-law said that Priya’s husband was addicted to liquor and a few times came home drunk. On Sunday, he again came home drunk, leading to an argument between the couple. At the time of the incident, the woman and husband were at home, while her in-laws had gone out.
Priya and Vijay had a love marriage in 2021 and have a three-year-old son. Vijay works in furniture.
The police began a probe into the case and conducted the post-mortem of the deceased.
