Accused ordered 8 gold coin online, refused to accept
In his complaint given to police, Harmesh Rangari said Janki Nagar resident Manish Kirtikar and his aide Vijay ordered eight gold coins online in October last year.
The gold coins were delivered to them in a parcel. However, the duo insisted on checking the parcel before accepting it and managed to take out gold coins. The accused then refused to accept the parcel claiming that it was empty.
The accused used another mobile number to order gold coins last month and stole six gold coins using the same modus operandi. Harmesh then approached police and gave a complaint.
Police officials said a case has been registered against the accused and users of the mobile numbers used in the fraud following investigations.
