Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Two persons were arrested for robbing a man and attacking him with a knife in the Lasudia area, police said on Wednesday. They had also confessed to committing a stabbing incident on the night of 31st.

Lasudia police station in charge Taresh Kumar Soni informed Free Press that Ravi Kalyane, a resident of the Scheme Number 134 was robbed of his bike, cash and a mobile phone by two youths on Bypass Road late on Monday. The accused also attacked him with a knife and fled the scene.  

On the instruction of the senior officers, a team was constituted to arrest the accused. During the investigation, information was received that two suspects were seen in the Niranjanpur area and they were riding the bike which was robbed from a man.

The police team started a search and managed to arrest the accused from near New Loha Mandi area. The accused had fallen from the bike so they got injured.  

They were identified as Salman Khan and Sunil Singh, residents of the Khajrana area of the city. They allegedly confessed to their crime. A bike, a mobile phone and a knife were seized from them. They allegedly informed police that they had also attacked a person with a knife near Nipania liquor shop on the night of December 31. According to the police, the accused committed the robbery to fulfil their dreams.
