The 78th Cannes Film Festival may be all about cinema, but for TWICE’s Mina, it felt like the start of her own fairytale. Making her much-anticipated debut at the prestigious event, the Japanese K-pop star redefined red carpet glamour with an effortless look that felt straight out of a Disney classic. With two jaw-dropping appearances in one day, Mina clearly proved why she’s a global fashion icon in the making.
Mina’s Cannes 2025 debut in fairytale gown
For her official red carpet debut at the premiere of ‘The Phoenician Scheme’, Mina arrived in a strapless black gown that was equal parts classic and daring. The gown featured a dramatic high-low hemline, a bold thigh-high slit and a flowing train that moved like a dream as she walked.
Taking her debut look to new heights, Mina adorned some sparkling pieces from the French luxury jewellery house Boucheron. Her accessories featured the iconic Rosier Question Mark necklace, coordinating pendant earrings and Cyclamen ring.
Her makeup was kept clean and luminous with a minimal dewy base, softly flushed cheeks, a perfect winged liner and glossy lips. Her hair was pulled back into a neat, low bun, letting her dress and jewellery take centre stage.
Mina’s ethereal appearance in white
Just when fans thought Mina’s debut couldn’t get more magical, she made a second appearance at the Kering Women in Motion Awards and the Cannes Film Festival Presidential Dinner, this time in a striking white gown that exuded sophistication and grace.
The off-shoulder trumpet-style gown hugged her frame and flared out in all the right places, thanks to its mermaid silhouette. It further showcased a soft draping around the neckline, with the crisp white fabric giving her an ethereal glow.
She paired the look with dazzling statement jewellery, including bold earrings and a sparkling necklace that added just the right amount of red carpet drama. Her makeup remained fresh and understated, keeping the focus on her natural elegance, while her hair flowed freely in soft waves.
