Washington: US President Donald Trump banned the entry of citizens of seven Muslim countries including Iran into the US at the beginning of his first term. Trump is preparing to ban the entry of citizens of 43 countries in the United States in his second term. However, this time Trump has divided these countries into three groups, in which all kinds of restrictions will be imposed on citizens of 11 countries included in the red list, while citizens of countries with Orange List will be given visas for business. The 22 countries included in the yellow list have been given 60 days to avoid restrictions.

US President Donald Trump signed several orders as soon as he took over on 20 January, one of which included a tight security check for foreign nationals. In addition, cabinet authorities were directed to submit a list of countries by 21 March, where inadequate testing and screening procedures should be banned completely or partially on the journey of their citizens.

This step can be taken to strengthen the US national security. However, this list is not yet ready and may change. However, this will require the consent of External Affairs Minister Marco Rubio as well as administrative approval. The 43 countries on which the US is preparing to impose a ban ban is divided into three groups. There will be a complete ban on the entry of citizens of 11 countries included in the red list.

The second group consists of 10 countries of the Orange list. Rich traders and women traders of these countries will be given visas for business, but they will not be given immigration and tourist visa. Citizens of these countries will have to face a rigorous investigation process and compulsory personal visa interview.

The third group consists of 22 countries of the yellow list. These countries will be given 60 days to overcome security shortcomings to avoid traveling ban. After this these countries will be included in the red or orange list. The group consists of mostly African and Caribbean countries.

Trump’s possible ban will affect India’s neighboring countries Pakistan, Myanmar and Bhutan. According to sources, Afghanistan has been included in the red list. However, efforts will be made to protect refugees and special immigrant visas (SIV) holders from this ban as the Taliban comes to power. This news has increased concern between international students and tourism community. Trump promised to implement the ‘conceptual inquiry’ in his election campaign and prevent extremists from entering the United States.

According to a report by the world famous American newspaper The New York Times, President Donald Trump imposed a complete travel ban on citizens of seven Muslim countries in his first term citing internal security concerns. The US Supreme Court also upheld the ban.
