Trade talks between the two countries will soon be successful. “If the danger increases, the Trump administration will provide all possible assistance with resources.” In such a situation, this statement of Mike Johnson is now being considered a green signal for India. Due to which the concerns of Pakistan have increased.
India took strict action against Pakistan
26 people were killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. After the Pahalgam attack, the Cabinet Committee on Security Affairs (CCS) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi suspended the Indus Water Treaty with immediate effect. This is the first time India has taken such a big and strict action. There have been three major wars between India and Pakistan but the treaty was never suspended before.
Regarding the decisions taken in the meeting of the Cabinet Committee, the Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement saying that the Indus Water Treaty of 1960 has been suspended with immediate effect. This ban will remain in force until Pakistan stops supporting terrorism across the border.
Apart from this, the Government of India has also banned many YouTube channels related to Pakistan in India. Additionally, the Indian aircraft has been closed for Pakistani aircraft by 23 May.
