Trisha Krishnan is one of the most famous actresses down South. In her career spanning of more than two decades, the actress has starred in many super hit films. Now, recently, there were reports that Trisha might be joining politics soon, and she will join her Ghilli co-star, Thalapathy Vijay’s party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. There were even reports which claimed that she might leave acting after joining politics.
Well, Trisha’s mother, Uma Krishnan, has clarified whether her daughter is joining politics or not. While talking to Manorama News, Uma said, “Trisha is not entering politics. She will continue in cinema. All other reports are baseless.”
Many actors and actresses from the South film industry have entered politics. So, when the reports of Trisha joining politics started doing the rounds, people felt that it might be true. Trisha and Thalapathy Vijay share a great rapport as they have worked together in multiple films, so it wouldn’t have been surprising if the actress decided to join his party.
But now, her mother has clarified that the actress is not joining politics, and will continue to be part of films. We are sure Trisha’s fans are happy to know that she is not quitting acting.
Talking about her movies, Trisha was recently seen in the Malayalam film Identity. Trisha has many films lined up like Vidaamuyarchi (Tamil), Good Bad Ugly (Tamil), Vishwambhara (Telugu), Thug Life (Tamil), and Suriya 45 (Tamil). While Trisha has done many Tamil and Telugu films, she has only done one Hindi movie till date, Khatta Meetha, in which she was paired opposite Akshay Kumar. However, because of her dubbed movies, and the song Appadi Podu song, the actress is quite famous pan-India.
