Varanasi, 01 October (Hindustan Reporter). The revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle were saluted in Pitru Paksha. On Tuesday, at Dashashwamedhghat, members of the social org.zation Pranam Vande Mataram Committee performed Pinda Daan in the name of the revolutionaries amidst chanting of mantras. After the tarpan, one bowed to the great souls and prayed for happiness, peace and prosperity in India and sought their blessings.
President of the org.zation, Anoop Jaiswal said that on the 14th day of Pitru Paksha, many revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle like Birsa Munda, Mangal Pandey, Neera Arya, Mahar. Laxmibai, Chafekar Bandhu, Sardar Udham Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, After offering Pind Daan and Tarpan, we performed puja for many known and unknown revolutionaries like Sukhdev, Veer Savarkar, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Khudiram Bose, Surya Sen. After the rituals, under the supervision of Pt. Rajkumar Pandey, prayed for the peace of the souls of the revolutionaries. Dhirendra Sharma, Shankar, Manglesh, Shyam Sundar Gaur, Rajesh Dubey, Akhil Verma, Raju Paswan, Omprakash Yadav Babu, Aditya Goenka, Siddhanath Gaur Algu etc. participated in the program.
