Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): A tribal man was badly beaten by a security guard and a sweeper in Shivpuri on Monday after he objected to being forced to sleep in the hospital gallery. The incident was captured in a video, which is now going viral on social media.
After the video of the incident went viral, the hospital management ordered an investigation into the matter.

According to the information, Asaram, a resident of Ganeshkheda village, had come to the hospital to get his pregnant wife admitted.
The man, who had brought his pregnant wife to the district hospital for treatment, was asked to vacate the bed and sleep outside. When he insisted on staying near his wife, the hospital staff got angry and threw him out of the ward. When he tried to enter again, the security guard and sweeper brutally beat him up.
The hospital staff shifted his wife’s bed, because of which Asaram had to sleep in the gallery. When he objected to this, the security guard and sweeper threw him out of the hospital.
When Asaram tried to go back into the ward to stay with his wife, they beat him badly.
The viral video is 1 minute 23 seconds long, in which Asaram is slapped 12 times. Asaram also said that after beating him, they threatened him.
On this matter, Civil Surgeon Dr. B.L. Yadav said that the video has come to his notice and after the investigation is completed, action will be taken against those found guilty.
