The Tribal Development Department is implementing the ‘Nucleus Budget’ scheme for the all-round and balanced progress of tribals in remote and ultra-remote areas. ‘NB Portal’ has been launched for the effective implementation of this scheme. Hence, the process and complete information of the scheme will be available to the beneficiaries on one click. The department has signed a tripartite MoU with SBI and Sarthak Infosoft for the portal.

The needs of the tribal community are at the heart of the Nucleus Budget scheme. Hence, this scheme gets immediate response from the beneficiary tribals. To bring coherence and transparency in the implementation of the scheme, Wardha’s Sarthak Infosoft has developed the ‘NB Portal’. Through this portal, the process from filling the application form of the scheme to receiving the actual grant to the beneficiaries will be completed online. Beneficiaries will be informed through mobile SMS at every stage.

The ‘NB Portal’ online system will provide the facility to the beneficiaries to select the scheme, fill the application, check the status of the application, pay 15% beneficiary share, upload the information and documents required for the scheme at one place. Whereas, the concerned office clerks, assistant project officers, cashiers TDI and project officers etc. in the government system will have the option to check the application and verify the documents. Also, they will be able to return the application to the beneficiary for errors and incomplete applications.

Meanwhile, Tribal Development Commissioner Leena Bansod, Deputy Commissioner Shashikala Ahirrao, SBI Deputy General Manager Neeraj Kumar Sah, Rajesh Kumar Pundir, Sarthak Infosoft’s Anil Pagar, Adv. Vishal Mahale etc. were present on the occasion of the tripartite MoU.
