The forelane ring road being built by the Municipal Corporation to Baghagada will be ready till Deepawali. The construction of this road will also get rid of traffic jams inside the city. For construction work, the Municipal Corporation has completed the tender process and selected the Prabha Construction Firm and the work order has also been released.
The cost of this project is Rs 8.17 crore, which has been approved under the Accelerated Economic Development Scheme. The entire amount has been released from the government level. The road will be built in two parts. This road from Nausad to 1100 meters will be 07 meters wide and an interlocking tiles of 1.50 meters will be installed on both sides. The width of the 1780 meter long road in the next part will be 3.75 meters. Here the municipal corporation will also install morning walk facilities, benches and street lights for seating.
In addition, the road widening work from Nakha overbridge to Ramjanaki Nagar intersection will also start soon. Maa Sharda Construction has also been entrusted with the responsibility for this. 12 crore 48 lakh 36 thousand rupees have been sanctioned for this project. The road from Nakha Bridge to the railway crossing will be built from the hot mix plant, while the CC road from the railway crossing to the Harahwa gate will be constructed. During this period, facilities like utility duct for water supply pipeline and street lights will also be transferred.
