Trade declined further in the year 2022-23 and it was only Rs 2257.55 crore. However, in 2023-24 trade between the two countries reached Rs 3886 crore with a big boom. In 2023-24, 6,871 trucks passed through this route and the movement of 71,563 passengers was recorded.
