Pune Viral Video: Tractor Crashes Into Car, Two Girls Escape Unhurt In Undri | Video Screengrab
Two young girls had a narrow escape in Pune’s Undri area after a tractor collided with a stationary car on Thursday. CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral on social media.
In the video, the girls are seen walking towards the Nyati Estate road when a tractor comes and suddenly crashes into a parked car. The impact pushes the car backwards, dragging one of the girls along with it. Immediately, locals rushed to the spot to check on the girl’s condition.

This comes after 49-year-old Sujit Kumar Singh, a resident of Vidya Niketan Society in Undri, was killed after being hit by a car during his morning walk on Tuesday. The incident occurred around 6:40am. It left Singh critically injured with severe head trauma. He was rushed to Sassoon General Hospital (SGH) but was declared dead on arrival.
Within 10 hours of the accident, Pune Police arrested the hit-and-run accused Sameer Ganesh Kad (32), a resident of Gangotri Complex in Undri.
The police said, “As soon as we got the information, we launched an investigation for the accused with the help of the CCTV cameras of the nearby societies. It came to the fore that the accused drove a grey-coloured Tata Nexon. We immediately contacted the RTO and got a list of the grey Tata Nexons registered in the last two months. The list had 2,500 such vehicles. Later, we scanned the CCTV footage of the Undri, Mohammadwadi and Handewadi areas and got the number of the vehicle of the accused. We found out that the accused tried to hide his car at a secluded place in Autadwadi by removing the number plates.”
The police arrested Kad and an FIR was lodged against him under sections 106 (causing death by negligence) and 281 (rash driving) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and under sections of the Motor Vehicles Act. Along with this, the police also invoked the charge of causing the disappearance of evidence against Kad.
