Pawan Kalyan, Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and President of Jan Sena Party, has made a scathing attack on Tamil Nadu leaders. On Friday, he criticized the Tamil Nadu leaders for opposing the National Education Policy (NEP) and accusing him of imposing Hindi. Describing him as ‘hypocritical’, Pawan Kalyan questioned that when he earns profits by dubbing films in Hindi, then why oppose Hindi? Pawan Kalyan said this while addressing the party’s 12th Foundation Day in Pithampuram, Kakinada.
If you oppose Hindi then why do Tamil films dub in Hindi?
Pawan Kalyan said that these leaders oppose Hindi, but allow Tamil films to dub in Hindi for economic benefits. He said, “I do not understand why some people criticize Sanskrit, why do Tamil Nadu leaders oppose Hindi, while allowing their films to dub their films in Hindi for financial benefits?” He asks for money from Bollywood, but refuses to accept Hindi, what kind of argument is this? “
Pawan Kalyan targeted Stalin
This statement of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has come amid allegations of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin that the central government is trying to impose Hindi through the NEP’s Tribhasha slogan. Emphasizing the linguistic diversity of India, Pawan Kalyan said, “India needs many languages not only of two languages but including Tamil. We should adopt linguistic diversity. Not only to maintain the integrity of our country, but also to promote love and unity among our people. ”
What did Stalin say about NEP?
In fact, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin called NEP a “saffron policy” created to promote Hindi rather than India’s development. He alleged that this policy is in danger of destruction of Tamil Nadu’s education system. Stalin said in Thiruvallur, “The National Education Policy is not a education policy but a saffronisation policy. This policy is made not for the development of India but for the development of Hindi. We are opposing this policy because it will completely destroy the education system of Tamil Nadu. ” Stalin accused the central government of stopping funds to pressurize the state to implement the NEP.
