New Delhi: We have to give toll while traveling by vehicle on the highway. This situation is being seen in many parts of the country. Some decisions have also been taken from time to time regarding this toll booth. However, now Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has made an important announcement. Union Minister Gadkari said, “The central government is considering implementing a new system to close the toll plaza in the country.”

Union Minister Gadkari was speaking at the spring lecture of Amar Hind Mandal in Dadar. The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is going to implement a new toll policy across the country soon. Which will solve toll related problems. However, no official information has been given in this regard yet.

Under the new policy of the government, if a formula of Rs 3000 is implemented, then it will benefit the most people who use national highways and expressways to go from one city to another every month. In this regard, several measures are being taken at the government level to reduce the queue of vehicles at the toll plaza. For this, the fastag method has been made mandatory.

Meanwhile, vehicles have to wait at toll booths for fastag. The central government is now considering implementing a new system to close the toll plaza in the country. In the new policy, the government will allow people to recharge fastag for Rs 3,000. After this, they will not have to pay tax on any toll plaza for the next one year.

Doubly toll collection when not fastag

Fastag has been made mandatory from April 1. This decision has been taken by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation. If you pay toll through cash, card or UPI. So you have to give double toll. Fastag has been made mandatory for each vehicle to make the toll process more efficient and to avoid the time and fastaging time and fastags at the toll booth.
