Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Minister for sports and Youth Welfare, Vishvas Sarang said that State Congress President Jitu Patwari is levelling baseless allegations against the government so that he can save his chair. Sarang was responding to PCC chief allegations on the government’s performance while talking to media persons here on Monday.

He told that Out of 456 promises made in BJP manifesto, 50 have been fulfilled and currently work is underway on 310 promises, said the minister, adding that all the electoral promises the party made will be fulfilled in five years tenure of the government.

Rubbishing the opposition claim that the government was running on money taken on loan, Sarang said that the government is taking loans within its limit, while Congress during its tenure used to take loans of Rs 1000 crores or more every month.

The law and order situation is the state is under control and atrocities against women have come down by 7.91 %, said the minister.
