TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2025: Application fees

Preliminary Exam Fee:

Rs. 100, to be paid during the online application submission.

Fee exemption can be requested if applicable.

Main Exam Fee:

Rs. 200, to be paid if selected for the Main Examination and notified by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.

Fee exemption can be requested if applicable.

Payment Methods:

Fees can be paid online using Net Banking, credit card, or debit card.

Payment must be made on or before the application submission deadline.

TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2025: Steps to apply

– Go to tnpsc.gov.in, the official website.

– Click the link for the Group 1 online application that is currently active.

– Enter your information to register and log in.

– Input the necessary personal data, then attach your signature and photo.

– Enter your address and attach the required files.

– Go over all the information and make the payment.

– Use an e-challan, debit/credit card, or net banking to pay the application fee.

– To finish the application procedure, click the submit button.

– A copy of the application should be saved and printed for future use.

TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2025: Selection process

Preliminary Exam:

Serves as a screening test only.

Scores from the preliminary exam will not be considered for the final merit order.

Main Exam:

Candidates eligible for the main exam will have their scores from Papers II, III, and IV considered for selection.

Interview:

The final selection will be based on the combined scores from the Main Examination (Papers II, III, and IV) and the interview, subject to the appointment reservation rule.
