News India Live, Digital Desk: Ticket Window: While Bollywood has been going through a long flop films for a long time, producer Dinesh Vijan was successful in bringing the audience to theaters through superhit films like ‘Chhava’ under his banner. In this episode, his new film ‘Bhool Luke Maa Maa’ is also ready for release, including Rajkumar Rao, Vamika Gabbi, Sanjay Mishra, Seema Pahwa, Zakir Hussain, Raghubir Yadav, Ishtiaq Khan and Anubha Fatehpuria. The trailer of the film was well liked by the audience, but the enthusiasm on the ticket window is less visible.
What is the story of the film?
Directed by Karan Sharma, ‘Bhool Lapa Maa’ is a concept comedy film, in which the hero is entangled in the date. Funny dialogues of the film are attracting audiences, but nothing new in the story’s small town concept is reducing the interest of the audience.
Reasons for slow response on ticket window:
- Since Korona, small town stories are being seen more on OTT platforms, so the audience is not reaching theaters.
- Rajkummar Rao is continuously playing the same roles, due to which the audience is unable to see newness in them.
- The film’s lead actress Vamika Gabbi does not have any big fan following of her, which is affecting ticket sales.
- The music of the film also could not gain popularity among the audience. Its remix song ‘Chor Bajari’ has failed to impress the audience.
How will the film’s business be?
Despite getting a good response to the trailer and dialogues, the initial response of ‘Bhool Lack Maaf’ is seen to be faded on the ticket window. The future of the film will depend on the weekend collection. If it is successful in attracting the audience in the first three days, then its business will be fine, otherwise the film may soon be out of the theater.
