Jaipur, 29 November (Hindustan Reporter). GRP police station has caught three miscreants, including two women, who stole gold jewelery from their bags while boarding trains. Police have recovered gold jewelery worth more than thirteen lakh rupees from them. The police have caught the miscreants with the help of CCTV of the roads leading to the railway station and other buildings.
Police Station Officer Virendra Kuril said that an action plan was made to stop the increasing incidents of theft in trains. Under this, the search for the miscreants was started by investigating the previously registered cases. On November 28, Pooja Kanwar, resident of Gogamedi, lodged a complaint that while boarding the train, someone took away the gold jewelery from her bag. While climbing, I saw a woman doing suspicious work. On this basis the police started investigation. Jewelery worth about thirteen lakh rupees was kept in her purse. The incident took place at Balaji railway station in Dhehar.
Police officer Virendra Kuril said that in this case, thirty-year-old Kiran alias Bablu, originally resident of Gujarat Hall Harmada, wife Ravi alias Suraj, thirty-year-old Bharti, resident of Bhairu Ji Ka Mandir, Raigar Colony, Bainad, and Naveen, resident of Bapu Nagar Kachchi Basti Vidyadhar Nagar, have been arrested. Both the women are originally from Gujarat. It is feared that many more incidents will be revealed in the police investigation.
