Mumbai – The three -day festival program will begin tomorrow, Saturday on the occasion of Ram Navami festival at Sainagar Shirdi. During the Ramnavami festival, special preparations have been made in the temple premises by the Shirdi Sai Institute for the convenience of lakhs of devotees coming from India and abroad and especially the security system has been increased.
Sai Baba of Shirdi started celebrating the festival of Ram Navami around 1911 during his lifetime. Since then, the 114 -year -old tradition of this festival has been going on. Ramnavami is on Sunday, so preparations for a three -day Ramnavami festival have been made from Saturday to Monday. It is estimated that about four to five lakh devotees will participate in this ceremony. Apart from this, hundreds of palanquin passengers from many villages and cities including Mumbai will reach Shirdi with palanquin. The Shirdi Sai Baba temple will be open all night on Ramnavami.
