In two separate incidents in Bandra and Goregaon, three people were arrested for hurling abuses and assaulting police officials on duty. The Dindoshi and Bandra police have registered two separate cases and arrested three accused – Arbaaz Jimal Khan, Abhishek Dilip Singh, and Pradeep Mohan Kamble.

In the first incident, Devendra Baban Kamble, a Bandra police constable, was on night duty with Assistant Faujdar Gaikwad and Assistant Faujdar Tambe. Around 2am, the Mumbai police control room received a call about an assault on Chimbai Road, Bandra West. Kamble and his team responded and found two intoxicated youths attacking several people. When the police intervened, the youths became aggressive and attempted to assault Kamble and Gaikwad. Additional police personnel arrived, subduing the assailants Abhishek Singh and Pradeep Kamble, both from Raigad. Both were arrested for their misconduct and harassment of locals, and it was revealed they were under the influence of drugs.

The second incident occurred in Santoshnagar, BMC Colony, Goregaon East. Arbaaz Jimal Khan, a 24-year-old local resident and a known repeat offender, was involved. Dindoshi police have over 19 serious criminal cases registered against him.

While the police were monitoring his activities, they received information about his presence in the Santoshnagar area. A team comprising police constables Pandharinath Pawar, Kamble, Bhandari, and ATC constable Dalvi was dispatched to the scene.

Upon confrontation, Arbaaz began abusing the police and obstructing them from performing their official duties. He attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended. A case was registered against him based on constable Pandharinath Pawar’s complaint.
