Due to lack of information about the cancellation of trains, many passengers who reached Mumbai Central or Borivali with their family and goods were surprised.
Many passengers were seen worried in Mumbai Central and Borivali. Some people had come to catch the train, although they knew that their train had been canceled, they hoped that the railway would probably run another train as an alternative system or would run a train for Vadodara or Anand. He said that the Railways should have made a luxury coach from Vadodara at least to provide traffic facilities to passengers between Ahmedabad and Vadodara. Some time ago when the railway set up a mega block, many trains were canceled for several days. But at that time people were already aware of this, so they were already able to arrange. But, today this accident happened suddenly and due to this many passengers did not know about the trains being stopped till the last time.
Shatabdi and Gandhinagar Vande India trains left this morning were stopped in Vadodara. Many passengers came to know after boarding the train that this train will not go to Ahmedabad. Double decker and Karnavati are the most popular trains to go from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. These trains reach low rent and reach Ahmedabad very quickly. Railways have completely canceled both these trains completely. In the afternoon, the passengers who arrived at the time of these trains said that the railways should have tried to run these trains at least Anand or Nadiad. In contrast, a large number of people are trapped due to cancellation of all trains. Some people going to Surat also argued that if there was no problem on the route from Mumbai to Surat, there was no need to cancel this train.
A family from Vadodara bought tickets for this afternoon double decker bus about a month ago. He was relaxed because he had a confirmed ticket. However, this morning he came to know that his train had been canceled. After this, he got booking in Tejas Express with the help of an agent. Tejas tickets compared to double decker, that too at the last minute, he found four times more expensive. On the other hand, there was no clarity on when and how much money will be returned for the canceled double -decker train.
A businessman who booked a Shatabdi flight for this afternoon to catch an international flight from Ahmedabad expressed his disappointment on social media that he had booked tonight flight at the last moment due to the uncertainty of trains. Now they are praying that the flight is not canceled even at night.
Some tourists who came from Gujarat and returned told that they are always dependent on trains to go to Mumbai, so they do not even know where the bus will be found in Mumbai or where it will be booked. However, taking advantage of the situation, some travel agents were seen advertising that bus or cab booking is available to visit Gujarat in Mumbai Central and Borivali.
