The author of the Mahabharata is Ved Vyas, who himself was a character in it. This book describes the war between the Kauravas and the Pandavas, which was named Mahabharata. According to a legend described in the Mahabharata, an infant was born from the womb of not one but two mothers.
According to mythology, Jarasandha was a great enemy of Lord Krishna because he was a close relative of King Kansa who was killed by Lord Krishna. After killing Kansa, he started following Shri Krishna. Jarasandha was the king of Magadha, now known as Bihar. Jarasandha was so cruel that he took 100 kings captive to become an emperor so that he could sacrifice them. In the Mahabharata war, Bhima defeated Jarasandha and killed him after a 13 -day war.
The King had no children.
The description of Jarasandha is found in the Mahabharata. The story of his birth is very interesting, according to which Brihadratha, the king of Magadha, had two wives. But the king had no children, so he was very worried.
Then he goes to the ashram of sage Chandkaushik and tells him his problem. Then the sage gave him a fruit and said that feeding this fruit to his favorite queen, it will give you children.
It was born in this way.
But the king loved both his queens very much, so he cut the apple into two pieces and gave a piece to each queen. After eating the apple, both the queens became pregnant and after some time they were surprised when they gave birth to a child. Half a child was born from the womb of both.
In this way this name was made.
At this time, a demon named Zara was passing through the forest and he looked at the pieces of the child and used his magic using both the pieces of the child together. Two parts of this baby were connected by a demon named Zara, hence it was named Jarasandha.
How did Jarasandha defeat?
Later there was wrestling between Jarasandha and Bhima which continued for a long time. But it was very difficult to defeat Jarasandha, because whenever Bhima cut his body into pieces, he would be alive again.
Then Lord Krishna breaks a wood into two pieces by indicating Bhima and throwing them in two opposite directions. Bhima understands his gesture and cuts Jarasandha into two pieces and throws it in different directions. Thus this short -term alliance ended.
