I thought mom would say, ‘No, I don’t want anything’, but she immediately said, ‘I want a house in Shimla.’ I was surprised because after dad’s death we didn’t live in Shimla, but mom always lived in a rented house, so she wanted her own house. So I bought them a luxurious eight-bedroom apartment in Shimla.
