S Jaishankar said in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday that the process of exile is not new. It has been going on for many years. The Foreign Minister also informed how many Indians were deported in which year.

S Jaishankar said that the process of exile by the US and implementation is done through immigration and customs enforcement. This system is in force since 2012. ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) is to use the standard operation process restrictions for exile by the aircraft used by the aircraft used. He also said that there is no restriction on women and children.

The Foreign Minister said that Indian immigrants are stranded under inhuman conditions. People living illegally are sent back to their country. Many of our citizens wrongly reached America. Illegal immigrants were to be brought back. This is not the first time he has been brought here.

He further said that it is the responsibility of all countries that if their citizens are found to be illegally living abroad, they should be brought back. S Jaishankar said, “We are interacting with the US government to ensure that there is no mistreatment of those returning.”

 

The Foreign Minister has also given details of people sent to the House from 2009 to 2025. He informed that 734 in 2009, 799 in 2010, 597 in 2011, 530 in 2012, 550 in 2013, 591 in 2014, 708 in 2014, 708 in 2015, 1303, 2011, 2012, 2018, 1889, 2020 in 2019, 2020 In 805, 862 in 2022, 670 in 2023, 1368 in 2024 and 104 in 2025 were deported.
