Bhilwara BHN. Thieves uprooted the safe from a house in Jalindri village of the district last night. There were gold and silver jewelery and lakhs of rupees in cash in the vault. Thieves collected the goods and threw them in a closed mine away from Tijori village and the bike stolen from this house was smashed near Amarpura village of Shakkargarh police station. In the morning, the report of this matter has been given to the Bijolia police.
At around 2 a.m., a gold and silver vault containing 10 tolas of gold, four pairs of silver anklets, 3 Kankatis of 2 kg and 10 grams of silver and two and a half lakh cash was stolen from the house of Ladu Lal s/o Kanwara Kirad, resident of Jalindri, Bijolia police station. Done | When the victim’s wife woke up at around 4 in the morning, the main gate of the house was open and the lock of the room where the safe was kept was broken.
The bike was also missing from the house. The family members made inquiries in the village and searched for the thieves. Meanwhile, villagers found the stolen bike lying abandoned in the morning near Amarpura village, some distance from Jalindri. After searching a little further, the safe was also found abandoned in a closed mine. The ornaments kept in the vault were found missing.
