Kashish Kapoor was evicted from the Bigg Boss 18 house on Sunday, only two weeks before the grand finale of the popular reality show. One of the highlights of Kashish’s Bigg Boss journey was her major showdown with Avinash Mishra, during which she even called him ‘womaniser’, but was later schooled by host Salman Khan for it.

In an exclusive conversation with The Free Press Journal, Kashish stated that the schooling over the flirting controversy with Avinash was “unnecessary” and that she was portrayed as a villain to make the actor look nice. “The incident was not handled well at all. They painted me guilty just to prove him like a saint,” she said.

She went on to say that she did not agree with Salman’s stance on the entire row. “I don’t think I can pass a judgement like that about Salman sir that he was biased. But I can definitely say that I did not agree with all his points,” she stated.

For those unversed, Kashish had accused Avinash for passing derogatory comments about her after he had joked that the two should flirt to add a “flavour” to the show. She even called the Nath actor a “womaniser” during the fight, however, Salman later criticised her on national television, and even showed clips to prove that she started flirting with Avinash first.

Kashish was even seen snapping at Salman at one point, but she later apologised to the superstar for her tone and demeanour.

During the interview, Kashish also mentioned that entering the Bigg Boss 18 house as a wildcard contestant was a major disadvantage as she was never accepted by the original contestants wholeheartedly. “If there was one thing I could change, that would be participating in the show right from the start and not as a wildcard contestant,” she averred.

When asked who, according to her, should have been eliminated from the show instead of her, Kashish promptly named Eisha Singh.

On a parting note, Kashish named the Bigg Boss 18 contestants who she thinks will be in the Top 5. “Unfortunately, all the four boys — Avinash, Rajat Dalal, Karan Veer Mehra and Vivian Dsena, and maybe Eisha or Shilpa Shirodkar,” she concluded.
