Mumbai has been ranked 49th in the ranking of the world’s 50 best cities to live in in 2025. Mumbai has made its place in this year’s list released by Time Out, while Cape Town is at first place, Bangkok is at second and New York is at third.

New infrastructure projects such as the coastal road and the first underground metro line are improving transportation. Local people consider it an ideal city for romance. Apart from this, Mumbai has also been considered the third happiest city in the world.

Cape Town is considered one of the happiest cities in the world. 95 percent of the people described the city’s food and drink environment as excellent, and 97 percent of the people considered it a happy city.

Bangkok is famous for its grand temples and street markets, and it is also known for its hospitality. 86 percent of locals rate Bangkok’s dining environment as good, while 84 percent consider it affordable.

New York is famous for its hustle and bustle and exciting experiences. 92 percent of New Yorkers like the city’s arts and culture, and 78 percent consider it an exciting city.
