Ranchi, 29 November (HS). Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri held a meeting with senior district level officials in the meeting room of the Collectorate on Friday and gave important guidelines. The Deputy Commissioner said that under no circumstances should there be indecent behavior with the general public. If common citizens come up with a problem, its solution should be ensured with sensitivity.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the head of the office should ensure that if people come with any problem, they should be provided with correct information as to which department their problem is related to and how it will be solved.
The Deputy Commissioner said that to bring transparency, all officers and employees in the Collectorate will wear identity cards containing their name and designation. The card should always be kept on display so that people coming to the office can know the name and department of the officer. The Deputy Commissioner said that all the officers will ensure to keep name and designation plates on their tables. Every office head, clerk and accountant and all employees will ensure to keep a name plate with name and designation on their office table.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the District Information and Science Officer to issue a WhatsApp number of the district to ensure that the problems of common citizens are resolved as soon as possible. Instructions were also given by the Deputy Commissioner to depute shift wise to listen to the problems of the people 24 hours. The Deputy Commissioner said that by focusing especially on the ambitious scheme of the state government, Jharkhand Chief Minister Mainiyan Samman Yojana, better implementation of the scheme should be ensured.
The Deputy Commissioner said that all office heads will ensure that no officer or employee in their department misbehaves with the general public. Everyone should reach their workplace on time and go on leave after getting the leave sanctioned in advance. The Deputy Commissioner said that compliance with all the guidelines given in the meeting should be ensured within the stipulated time limit.
