Mumbai: The second season of ‘Kala Pani’, one of the most acclaimed web series in recent times, will not come. The project has been canceled currently after Netflix refused to give a budget for the second season.
As revealed, a lot of preparations were made for the second season. Shooting was also scheduled to begin next month. But Netflix rejected the budget at the last minute. The makers of the show tried hard to convince the audience and critics that the first series had received good response, but Netflix officials did not agree. Adorned with artists like Mona Singh and Ashutosh Gowariker, the theme and presentation of this series were highly appreciated. The story of the results of the tampering of nature caused by industrial and human activities in Andaman and Nicobar, and how Nature itself finds a solution, has been very beautifully threaded in this story, as well as human trends like greed, lust, jealousy, vengeance and selfishness have been threaded in this story.
Fans are very disappointed to know that the second season of this series will not come.
